Outside Escapes are played from your smartphone, without the need to download an app. And if you’d like to stay ‘in control’, you can both play from your own phones as well!
Experience a unique city escape game in more than 35 cities all over the Netherlands and Belgium. Every route is filled with riddles, local fun facts, and perhaps a bit of romance?
Start whenever you want and take breaks when it suits you. Did you find a sunny terrace or a cute boutique shop along the way? No problem – you can play at your own pace, even into the following day!
Would you like to play with multiple couples? No problem. Play together in one big team, or play in separate teams and compete for the high score!
Choose a city, complete payment and start playing right away! You play on your smartphone, without the need to download anything.
An Outside Escape lasts around 2 hours, unless you choose to enjoy a drink somewhere in the sun, of course! Each route is approximately 2,5 kilometres long.
Of course, there’s no time limit. It would be a shame to miss out on all those sunny terraces and cosy cafes because you’re in a hurry!
Many of our routes have two levels to choose from: basic and challenging. If you have little experience with escape rooms or escape routes, choose the basic variant. If you like a challenge, choose the challenging variant. The routes are the same length, the story is the same, only the difficulty level of the riddles differs.
By the way, you will get one chance to switch levels during the game, should you feel you chose the wrong difficulty.
No, using the hints you can always find the solution to a riddle. You can usually ask for three hints and the last hint always gives you the correct answer. The hints will cost you points, so be careful!
Yes it is, an Outside Escapes takes you past both well-known and lesser-known sights of a city. Chances are you will discover hidden places you would never have seen otherwise!
