The riddles are of average difficulty, with the occasional easy and challenging riddle in between. Don't worry: by using hints, you'll always make it to the end!

Recommended for ages 14 and up. Younger children who enjoy a challenge can also participate under supervision!

What ages are Outside Escapes suitable for?

Outside Escapes are suitable for families with children aged 14 and up. But there is plenty to do for younger children, as they can help solve riddles by looking around for hints! In addition, each escape contains 5 or 6 photos of locations to keep an eye out for. So even the smallest participants can participate in a fun photo hunt!

With how many people can we play at the same time?

An Outside Escape is suitable for 2 to 80 people. If you are with a larger group, we recommend playing with teams of around 5 people. This way, every team member gets a chance to actively participate and it stays fun for everyone. But you are free to form larger teams, of course!

Will you be playing with more than one team? Please order an access code for each team.

What do I need to play an Outside Escape?

To play an Outside Escape, you'll need the following:

  • A charged mobile phone (smartphone) with mobile data plan for the Netherlands or Belgium.
  • Pen and paper for notes can be handy, but are not essential.
  • If you are playing in the dark, you will need a good torch!

Once your order is completed, you will receive a link and access code that will allow you to start your Outside Escape directly from your mobile phone. There is no need to install an app. You cannot download the Outside Escape for offline use.
