Why choose an Outside Escape?

More than 45 routes

Experience a unique city escape game in more than 35 cities all over the Netherlands and Belgium. Every route is filled with surprises, riddles, and local fun facts.

Book and start quickly

Choose a city, complete payment and start playing right away! You play on your smartphone, without the need to download anything.

For small and large friend groups

No matter how many friends you have, an Outside Escape will always be a fun day out! From our experience, teams of up to 5 players have the most fun, so feel free to book for multiple teams!

No time limit – play at your own pace

Start whenever you want and take breaks when it suits you. See a sunny terrace or a cute boutique shop along the way? No problem – you can play at your own pace, even into the following day!

Competition is a choice

Do you like competition? Try and score as many points as you can by not using any hints. Are you playing in multiple teams? Challenge each other to some friendly rivalry!

Two hours of fun

An Outside Escape lasts around 2 hours, unless you choose to enjoy a drink somewhere in the sun, of course! Each route is approximately 2,5 kilometres long.

The puzzles are fun and challenging. You have to work together to solve them. What we really like is that there is no time pressure. There is plenty of time to solve the puzzle or have a drink in between.

Frequently asked questions

How does that work, an Outside Escape?

Please watch the game tutorial to see exactly how an Outside Escape works.

Can we stop for a break on the way?

Of course, there’s no time limit. It would be a shame to miss out on all those sunny terraces and cosy cafes because you’re in a hurry!

Is it necessary to make a reservation?

No, a booking is not necessary. After you’ve booked your Outside Escape, you’ll receive a link and one or more access codes within minutes. With these, you can start the Outside Escape whenever you want!

Are the riddles not too difficult or too easy?

Many of our routes have two levels to choose from: basic and challenging. If you have little experience with escape rooms or escape routes, choose the basic variant. If you like a challenge, choose the challenging variant. The routes are the same length, the story is the same, only the difficulty level of the riddles differs.

By the way, you will get one chance to switch levels during the game, should you feel you chose the wrong difficulty.
