Rien suddenly seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. Marga is worried and goes looking for him. On his desk she finds a recipe, but important information seems to be missing. What is this recipe for? You decide to help Marga and head into Oss to find clues.

About Outside Escape Oss

Start and end point
The route

The route winds through the centre of Oss. You will recognise patterns in the Tapijtwijk district, with references to Oss’ old industry. You walk over the Heuvel, where the Boterwaag stood in ancient times. After this, you pass the Grote Kerk, via the Groene Engel towards the museum. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities for a snack or a drink.

Difficulty level

At the start of this Outside Escape, you can choose between the basic version and the challenging version. The challenging version is meant for players who already have some experience with escape games. Not sure which one to choose? After a few riddles, you can switch difficulty levels once.

Age

Recommended for ages 14 and up. Younger children who enjoy a challenge can also participate under supervision!

Route duration

This Outside Escape takes approximately 2 hours, excluding breaks. The route is approximately 2.5 kilometres long.

After completing your order you'll receive an email with a login link and access code. With these, you can start your Outside Escape whenever you choose. No reservations are needed. All you need is a charged smartphone with a mobile data plan.

Stuck on a riddle? Simply use a hint. The third hint will always give the correct answer, so you’ll never get stuck while playing.

What ages are Outside Escapes suitable for?

Outside Escapes are suitable for families with children aged 14 and up. But there is plenty to do for younger children, as they can help solve riddles by looking around for hints! In addition, each escape contains 5 or 6 photos of locations to keep an eye out for. So even the smallest participants can participate in a fun photo hunt!

With how many people can we play at the same time?

An Outside Escape is suitable for 2 to 80 people. If you are with a larger group, we recommend playing with teams of around 5 people. This way, every team member gets a chance to actively participate and it stays fun for everyone. But you are free to form larger teams, of course!

Will you be playing with more than one team? Please order an access code for each team.

What do I need to play an Outside Escape?

To play an Outside Escape, you'll need the following:

  • A charged mobile phone (smartphone) with mobile data plan for the Netherlands or Belgium.
  • Pen and paper for notes can be handy, but are not essential.
  • If you are playing in the dark, you will need a good torch!

Once your order is completed, you will receive a link and access code that will allow you to start your Outside Escape directly from your mobile phone. There is no need to install an app. You cannot download the Outside Escape for offline use.
